I would like to see the pavement on Lawton street between Kinsey street and bank street transformed
it is a really key area for the town, opposite the cenothaph(which is shortly being improved) and the millennium garden. also it acts as an entry to central Congleton from back lane car park etc. and is a convivial area for tables and chairs mainly in the evenings outside the kings arms, prince of wales and purple pakora.
I suggest the parking spaces are filled in but the one-way road widened slightly to accommodate a cycle lane
this would then be a very attractive area leading up to the town hall
