PS009 – Viking Way to town centre

There is planned shared path route along Viking Way to join onto the existing shared path on Barn Road. However, this path finishes at the entrance to the Congleton Household Waste Site. This path needs to continue along Barn Road, around the roundabout and alongside the South West side of Clayton Bypass to Dane Street. Dane Street will need re-surfacing to make it suitable for cycling.

This proposal will create a rapid, safe link between the planned commercial and private properties along Barn Road and Viking Way and the town centre.
